RIYADH - At least 10 Pakistani pilgrims were killed and 25 injured when the bus in which they were travelling from Mecca to Medina turned turtle, a media report said.

The accident occurred near Khulais, 150 km from Mecca. Eight passengers died on the spot, while one died on the way to hospital and another after reaching there, Xinhua reported citing an Arab News report Sunday.

The report, however, did not provide details about the cause of the crash.

Among the injured were six women and a child and the bus driver, a Syrian national, the report said.
