Three arrested with hashish in UAE

Abu Dhabi, June 14 (IANS/WAM) Three people including two Pakistani nationals were arrested here with 10.5 kg of hashish, police said.

The narcotic substance was hidden in cartons of fruit, apparently for trading, a senior official of the Criminal Investigation Department at Abu Dhabi Police said Sunday.

The three, one of them an Afghani, were arrested recently, he added.
