Candlelight vigil planned for Ark. floods victims
LANGLEY, Ark. — Family members and first responders are holding a candlelight vigil for victims of the flooding that tore through an Arkansas campground and killed at least 16 people.
Dozens of people still were missing Friday evening.
Floodwaters that rose as swiftly as 8 feet an hour destroyed the campground packed with vacationing families in the early morning.
Worried relatives, devastated community members and weary authorities are expected to gather in nearby Langley for the vigil.
