Three injured in east Delhi fire

NEW DELHI - Three people, including a girl, were injured in a fire that broke out in a tent house in east Delhi’s Mandawali area Thursday, officials said. The blaze was put out in half an hour.

“We got to know about the incident at 2.35 p.m. Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot,” a Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official said. The tenders took half an hour to douse the fire.

According to police, three people were injured in the fire which was caused by a cylinder blast.

“Kamal, 27, Rahul, 19, and Rena, 13, suffered minor injuries,” a police official said.
