Three held with 70 kg cocaine in Hong Kong

HONG KONG - Three people were arrested for possessing 70 kg of cocaine worth around 61 million HK dollars ($7.82 million), police said Thursday.

The officers of Narcotics Bureau Wednesday intercepted a 20-year-old man and his 17-year-old brother at Choi Hung Estate and recovered the drug hidden in six cartons.

After investigations, police also arrested a 24-year-old man in Kwai Chung in this connection, Xinhua reported.

All the detainees will be presented in Kwun Tong Magistrates’ court Friday.
