Acting on a tip-off, an anti-narcotics team raided a warehouse of fruits and vegetables in Akdeniz town of Mersin province in south Turkey and found 313.5 kg heroin. Six people have been arrested in this connection.
The drug was brought to Mersin from Turkey’s eastern provinces and traffickers were planning to send it to Europe, Xinhua reported quoting officials.
