NEW DELHI - With the arrest of two men Saturday, police Monday claimed to have busted a gang involved in stealing laptops and valuables from cars in central Delhi.

Babu, 27, and Rahul, 30, were arrested after police received information about their movements around Rajendra Place metro station.

“We received a secret information that one person involved in stealing laptops from cars would come near Rajendra Place metro station for selling a stolen laptop,” a police official said.

A trap was laid and Babu, carrying a laptop, was apprehended at the instance of the informer. Rahul was arrested later.

Three stolen laptops and one laptop charger were recovered by the police.
