Bees hamper investigation of Minnesota wreck
LAKEVILLE, Minn. — Authorities near Lakeville, Minn., are having a hard time investigating an auto wreck because a swarm of bees is getting in the way.
A semi hauling the insects and two passenger cars were involved in the crash on Interstate 35 on Monday afternoon. The bees got loose, and crews are trying to use fire hoses to get them to fly away.
Minnesota State Patrol spokesman Lt. Eric Roeske says one person died in the crash, and another person was airlifted to a hospital.
The crash happened about 35 miles south of Minneapolis.
