Motorcyclist dies after crashing into minister’s car

BHUBANESWAR - A 35-year-old man was died Sunday when his motorcycle collided with Orissa Transport Minister Sanjeeb Kumar Sahoo’s car in state’s Jajpur district, police said.

The motorcyclist crashed into Sahoo’s car from behind on National Highway No.5 near Rathia village, some 80 km from here, District Superintendent of Police D.S. Kuttey told IANS.

The motorcyclist was identified as Prasanta Panda. He succumbed to injuries on his way to hospital. The minister, who was in his car, however, escaped unhurt, he said.
