MANGALORE, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Even when the country is still recovering from the shocking Air India flight crash that killed 158 passengers yesterday morning, search is on to trace the black box in the aero plane. It can throw light on the actual cause of the accident. The investigation is still on. The Black box is made to survive the impact of accidents and crash and in many cases it has revealed the real cause of plane crashes. Since the plane overshot the runway of the Mangalore airport and landed into a valley beneath the hilly region, the black box might be somewhere in the valley itself. The Black box can also withstand extreme temperature.
The Black Box in the ill fated Air India flight possibly have the recorded conversation between the pilot and his crews. A team from the DGCA has started searching the black box. The team is sure to find the box shortly. The crash of the Air India plane that took off from Dubai and crash landed at the Mangalore Airport has made experts baffled. The weather at the time of its landing was more or less normal and the pilot did not report any anomaly to the airport control tower either.
The pilot of the ill-fated aeroplane Z. Glusica was a Serbian who had a British citizenship. He was used to flying to the Mangalore airport as the airlines record has indicated. The dead bodies have been recovered though some of them have been burnt so badly that nothing short of a DNA test would be able to trace their identity. The Black Box is the only clue to the mystery.
