Six kids, driver injured after cab hits school van

NEW DELHI - A speeding cab hit a school van injuring six students and the driver near Chirag Delhi flyover in south Delhi Thursday, police said.

“We got to know about the accident at 7:00 a.m,” a police officer said.

The van carrying six children of Guru Harkishan Singh Public School overturned on impact when speeding radio taxi.

“The students received minor injuries and were discharged from a local hospital,” the officer said.

The cab driver is on the run, but the police have registered a case of negligent driving and causing grievous injury.
