6.2-magnitude quake hits Costa Rica, no injuries reported

SAN JOSE - An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale hit Costa Rica Thursday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake, which struck at 4.16 p.m. local time (2216 GMT), had its epicentre 67 km from Costa Rica’s capital city of San Jose, at a depth of 38.8 km, Xinhua reported Friday citing a USGS statement.
