3-truck crash shuts down 26 miles of NJ Turnpike

CHESTERFIELD, N.J. — A 26-mile stretch of the New Jersey Turnpike’s northbound lanes has been closed because of a three-truck crash.

State Police Sgt. Julian Castellanos says the crash happened near the Bordentown exit south of Trenton shortly after 1 a.m. Friday and involved a box truck, a dump truck and a tractor-trailer hauling kerosene. The tractor-trailer turned on its side.

Castellanos says there’s no immediate word on injuries.
