Binayak Sen gets life imprisonment

RAIPUR - Rights activist Binayak Sen was Friday sentenced to life imprisonment after being held guilty of sedition and conspiracy by a Chhattisgarh court for his alleged links with Maoists.

District and Sessions Court judge B.P. Varma convicted Sen and two others, Narayan Sanyal and Piyush Guha, who were accused of being Maoists. They too got life terms.
