Road rage claims a life in Delhi

NEW DELHI - In a case of road rage, a housing loan agent was stabbed to death by four men in north Delhi Monday following a heated argument after their cars collided, police said.
According to police, the incident took place near Keshavpuram bus depot at noon. The deceased has been identified as Hemant Gupta (32), a loan agent with HDFC bank.
“Gupta was on his way to office from his Vikaspuri residence. A car hit his vehicle from behind in Keshavpuram and an argument broke out between him and the four passengers of the other car,” the official said.
“The argument took an ugly turn, and one of the four men stabbed him on his hand and chest in broad daylight. Nobody intervened,” the official added.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police, after speaking to eyewitnesses, have got two registration numbers and are in the process of identifying the culprits and the car involved in the incident.
“We have registered a case. Investigations are on,” the official added.
