Six children drowned in Jharkhand

RANCHI - Six children were drowned in two incidents in Jharkhand, police said Monday.

Two children were drowned in the Swranarekha river in Ranchi Monday, police said.

Four other children, aged between 10 and 12 years, were drowned Sunday in abandoned mines of Central Coalfiled Limited (CCL) at Khargni village of Bokaro district, some 145 km from Ranchi. Their bodies were spotted by villagers Monday.
