Businessman abducted in Bihar

PATNA - A businessman has been abducted by unidentified men in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district, police said Friday.

Deepak Kumar, who runs a cloth business, was abducted Thursday night at gunpoint by unidentified men in Muzaffarpur, about 70 km from here, an official said.

His family members lodged a case with the police and said that Kumar was abducted by some “gunmen when he was returning home after closing his shop”.

The family has not yet received any ransom call, the official added.
