Qatar’s Royal Family Member Killed in car Mishap in Iraq

RAMADI, IRAQ (GaeaTimes.com) — In an unfortunate car accident near Ramadi, a member of Qatar’s royal family was killed on Monday. The accident took place on Sunday afternoon in a bumpy area near the village of al-Nukhaib, some 200 km southwest of Anbar’s capital city of Ramadi.

According to internal sources, the victim has been identified as Khalifa bin Abdulla bin Hassan bin Ali al-Thani. He was driving his SUV while hunting for a prey when his vehicle rolled over, critically wounding him. He died of his wounds even before he was taken to a hospital.

The exact relationship of the victim with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani is still unknown. Investigation is being carried on to point out the exact cause of the accident.
