Two killed, including toddler, in accidents

NEW DELHI - Two people, including a toddler, were crushed to death by speeding trucks in different incidents in the capital, police said Friday.
A 45-year-old motorcyclist was hit by a truck in Sarojini Nagar in south Delhi at around 10 a.m.
Rajesh was a resident of Kidwai Nagar. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
In another incident, a year old boy was killed by a truck in Narela area of north district Thursday.
Police said the incident took place at around 11 p.m. when Nitesh was playing on the road while his father, Ravinder, was selling vegetables on his cart there.
The officer said a truck bearing number DL1LG 1892 crushed him and fled from the spot.
“The boy was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi hospital where he was declared brought dead. A case has been registered and hunt is on to nab the errant driver,” the officer said.
