Minor sodomised, stabbed

NEW DELHI - A 25-year-old man was arrested here on murder charges for allegedly sodomising and then stabbing a 15-year-old.

Mohammad Arif was taken into custody Wednesday after the attack on the teenager from Bihar who came to the capital looking for a job.

A friend employed at a factory in Mayapuri asked him to be with him for a few days so to learn basic skills that would help in his job hunt, police said.

Arif, who lived in the factory, lured the victim to a room on the pretext of showing him the Republic Day parade on television.

Once inside the room, he sodomised the boy. When he tried to sodomise him again, the teenager resisted, resulting in the knife attack.
