Drug peddler held, heroin seized

LUCKNOW - An inter-state drug peddler was arrested here Wednesday with heroin and opium valued at Rs.1 crore, police said.
Brijendra Kumar was nabbed from near a bus stop in Alambagh locality when he was going to hand over the consignment to his clients.
“The man has been in the trade for nearly five years,” police inspector Jata Shankar Mishra told reporters.
According to police, Kumar primarily supplied drugs to Bihar, Delhi and Uttarakhand.
