Two drug peddlers, supplier arrested in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Two drug peddlers and a supplier were arrested in Delhi in separate incidents, leading to the seizure of heroin worth lakhs of rupees, police said Saturday.
According to police, Rahman, 22, was arrested from Kalyan Puri area of east Delhi Dec 16 when he was about to supply the drug.
At least 320 gm of heroin was recovered from his possession. During investigation, it was revealed that Rahman had purchased this heroin from Ajayveer who hails from Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh). He too was arrested, Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime and railways) Ashok Chand said.
In the second case, a peddler was arrested with 420 gm of heroin in east Delhi.
On Tuesday (Dec 21), accused Sunil Kumar, 40, was arrested from Nand Nagri. He had bought this heroin from Sakhawat, also from Bareilly, who is absconding, added Chand.
