University teacher’s wife found dead on campus

GREATER NOIDA - The wife of a teacher was Tuesday found murdered at their home on the Gautam Buddha University campus here, police said.
Nagendra Singh, assistant professor in the bio-physics department, found his wife murdered when he returned home at 1.30 p.m. A mobile phone and a laptop were missing from the house, a police official said.
Singh left home at 8 a.m. for invigilation duty and when he came home he saw his wife Varsha lying dead with her throat slit and wrapped in a cloth.
“It is a mysterious murder. We have registered the case and are attempting to solve the mystery at the earliest,” said Greater Noida police superintendent Atul Saxena.
