I-80 Car Accident leaves Woman Critically Injured

LAKE POINT, TOOELE COUNTY (GaeaTimes.com) — In a car accident in Tooele County, a women was critically injured when her car went off the edge of I-80.
According to Utah patrol trooper, the accident took place at around 6.30 a.m., when the car driven by the victim’s husband went off the side of the road. Although the car did not roll over, but the woman was thrown out of the car through the rear door.
She was admitted to the University hospital with several broken bones and is still in a critical condition. However, the driver of the car, i.e., the woman’s husband remained completely uninjured. Her husband did not believe the woman was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Police is still investigating the reasons behind this mishap.
