Car Accident at I-95 Claims Life of 1 in Connecticut

NORTH STONINGTON (GaeaTimes.com) — In a car accident that took place on Monday night at Interstate 95 in North Stonington claimed the life of 1. Connecticut State Police are of the opinion that the crash occured at about 7 p.m., by Exit 92.
According to the Police, the accident took place between two cars. One of the car was driven by by Ronald Costa, 67, of Old Post Road who stopped in the right travel lane of the highway near an overpass. The second vehicle, driven by Gwendolyn Neri, 47, of Clinton, Conn., collided with Ronald’s car from the rear end. Both the cars wounded off the roadway as Costa’s car rolled over due to the impact,trapping Costa inside.
Costa was transported to Westerly Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Neri and two passengers were taken to L & M Hospital in New London for minor injuries.
An investigation is carried on by the troopers.
