Farmer couple murdered in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR - A farmer and his wife were stabbed to death by unidentified assailants Thursday in Chhattisgarh, police said.

The bodies of the couple, Narain Sahu, 52, and Sushila, 40, were found dumped in a field outsidevillage Paur in Raipur district, some 45 km from the state capital.

A police team comprising forensic experts rushed to the village from Raipur to investigate the murder which was reported to have fueled anger in the village having population of about 250 people.
