Beheaded body of corporator found

BAGHPAT - The beheaded body of an Uttar Pradesh municipal corporator has been found here, police said Thursday. Two men have been arrested.

The body of Sanjeev Tomar was recovered in Badarkha village in Baghpat district, some 400 km from here.

Acting on a complaint from Tomars family, police Thursday arrested two men who confessed to their involvement in the killing.

The corporator was murdered over a monetary dispute. We believe more people are involved,” police inspector R.K. Singh told reporters. Tomar went missing Monday night.
