Car Crashes into House near dothan, Injures 2

DOTHAN (GaeaTimes.com) — Last Friday, at near about 11 p.m., Police responded to a critical car accident which involved a car crashing into a roadside house in the 100 block of Northridge Road in Dothan.

Although the occupants of the residence was completely unharmed, the home suffered extensive structural damage due to the crash. The driver of the car suffered minor injury while another occupant, an adult female was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.

A preliminary investigation has pointed out speeding and alcohol as major factors behind the accident. Charges will likely be filed against the driver according to a release from Gregory J. Benton, Dothan’s Chief of Police.
