Roadside bombs kill 4 NATO troops in Afghanistan
MANILA - The death toll from a deadly typhoon that pummelled the Philippines earlier in the week rose to 65 with dozens still missing, the government said Saturday.
KOLHAPUR - A Shiv Sena legislator and eight party workers were arrested Saturday on charges of vandalising the office here of a news channel and assaulting a Kannada leader, police said.
MOHALI - A high-level inquiry has been initiated into how a man pretending to be an adviser to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh -- and uncannily with the same name -- was provided security and other facilities in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. A case may be registered against him, police said here Saturday.
