“The husband of the deceased was working in a garment manufacturing unit at G.T. Karnal Road,” Agarwal said. On the day of incident, Parul’s husband was way for his work and their son was at school.
During investigation, police also found that that Parul was not at good terms with her sister-in-law Bhawna.
Bhawna broke down during interrogation and confessed of her role in the murder. “She told us that that she along with Chauhan, who is living just opposite to the their house, killed Parul,” said Agarwal
She also told police that Chauhan used to visit their house frequently as they used to hire his taxi whenever they travelled in the city or outside Delhi and during this time, both of them developed intimacy.
