CHRISTCHURCH - Twenty students are among the 25 Chinese missing following the devastating earthquake in this New Zealand city, a media report said Sunday.

A list of the names of the missing Chinese was released by the Chinese embassy Saturday, the China Daily reported.

The students are from the King’s Education Ltd., an English language school housed in the Canterbury Television (CTV) building, one of the hardest-hit buildings in the quake.

Five more Chinese are also missing. A 10-member rescue team from China Saturday joined the search efforts at the CTV building.

At least 147 people have died after a 6.3-magnitude quake struck Christchurch Feb 22. About 200 are missing.
