Three die in Tata headquarters fire

MUMBAI - Three people were killed and one person suffered serious injuries Wednesday morning when a fire enveloped the basement of Bombay House, the headquarters of the Tata Group, an official said.
According to chief fire officer U.K. Tatkare, the fire began around 9.30 a.m. in south Mumbai.
“The three were trapped in the basement and died while a fourth person was brought out in a serious condition,” Tatkare told IANS. The injured person was rushed to Sir J.J. Hospital for treatment.
Another two people were rescued from the terrace of the building.
The area around Bombay House, located in the heart of Mumbai’s central business district, was sealed to facilitate relief and rescue operations.
