Noida to get new communication system for crime control

NOIDA - Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway Authority area in Uttar Pradesh will soon have an integrated communication and intelligence system to support crime control and traffic management, an official said Wednesday.
The integrated system will be backed by a dedicated broadband metropolitan area (fiber optic) network.
New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) Chairman Sardar Mohinder Singh said that the state government has issued a government order to set up a committee for the proper development of an integrated security and surveillance system”.
“The committee is in the process of preparing tender documents to appoint contractor/vendor to set up the project which would involve design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of IP based command communication and intelligence system for the Gautam Buddh Nagar district,” Singh added.
