Sex racket busted, five held

NEW DELHI - A sex racket was busted in south Delhi and five people including four women arrested, the police said Thursday.

According to police, the pimp Sunil Dubey, 29, and the four women, aged between 19 and 29 years were apprehended from Panchsheel Vihar in south Delhi Wednesday.

A trap was laid where two policemen were sent as decoy customers and then a raid was conducted.

“Dubey circulated his mobile number to his old customers and their acquaintances. Earlier, he used to operate from Ghaziabad but last month he shifted to Pancheel Vihar in order to provide sex workers during Christmas and New Year celebrations,” the official added.
