Opium worth Rs.50 lakh seized, one held

NEW DELHI - Five kg opium worth Rs.50 lakh was seized from a man arrested in west Delhi, police said Thursday.
Satpal, 36, was apprehended from Nangloi Dec 26. He has been involved in opium trafficking for over four years, police said.
He procured opium from Prahlad Singh of Udaipur, Rajasthan. In Delhi he supplied opium in areas like Tilak Nagar, Ashok Vihar, Nangloi and Azadpur Mandi, said a senior police official.
Prahlad Singh is still absconding, the official said.
