Man stabbed to death at his birthday bash

MELBOURNE - A man was stabbed to death at his own birthday party in Medina, a suburb of Perth in western Australia.
Police have charged a 43-year-old woman from Orelia, a suburb of Perth, over the death. The man and the woman had known each other for some months, but were not in a relationship, the Perth Now daily reported Tuesday.
Police were called Monday night to the house on Brownell Crescent just before 8 p.m. following an argument which took place at the birthday party.
The 58-year-old man was found with a number of stab wounds to his chest when police arrived.
He was rushed to Fremantle Hospital, but he died shortly thereafter, police said.
