NEW DELHI - A toddler was killed and three other children were critically injured Tuesday when a wall collapsed on them while they were playing in north Delhi’s Meet Nagar area, fire officials said.

“At around 1.45 p.m., we received the call that four kids who were playing in a street outside their homes were stuck under the debris of a collapsed wall. We rushed two fire tenders,” the official said.

Locals had taken the children to the nearby Guru Tegh Bahadur hospital before fire officials reached the spot.

Himanshi, two-and-a-half years old, was declared brought dead while Munni, 4, Khushboo, 10, and Priya, 7, sustained critical injuries.
