Reggio Calabria (Italy), Dec 29 (IANS/AKI) Four people were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of killing a man and his four sons in southern Italy.

The lifeless bodies of Domecico Fontana, aged 61, and three of his sons were discovered Monday on a farm in Filandari, in Italy’s Calabria region.

All were dead dead except one son who managed to telephone for help. He died on the way to hospital. The sons were aged 19 to 37.

Ercole Vangel, 42, confessed to involvement in the murders leading to the arrests of three other suspects.

Vangel said he was the victim of repeated harassment by Fontana, in part over disputed ownership of a parcel of land.
