Man Dies in a Car Crash after Stabbing a Person

MIRRABOOKA (GaeaTimes.com) — On one side, a Lake Macquarie man is undergoing surgery for multiple stab wounds while on another side, the person who had attacked him earlier, has died in a car crash near Mirrabooka.

At around 6 p.m., police officials received a call from a house in Dandaraga road where they found a 71-year-old had with several stab wounds. He was flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter hospital in a critical condition.

Shortly after, police recovered the dead body of a 49-year-old man nearby Bonnells bay. The victim of the accident died when his car hit a power pole on Fishery point.

Police say both men knew each other, and crime scenes have been established at both locations.
