Two Maoists arrested in Jharkhand

RANCHI - Two Maoists were arrested in Jharkhand’s Gumla district Wednesday, police said.

According to police, two guerrillas of the People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested on a tip-off from Visunpur area of Gumla district, around 140 km from Ranchi.

Police seized four rifles, 200 live cartridges and incriminating documents from them.

In another case, police seized a live bomb from a school in Palamau district.
