Mystery Car Crash leaves Husband Dead, Wife Missing

ILLINOIS (GaeaTimes.com) — In a strange turn of event, 40-year-old Tanya Shannon went missing after a car accident that killed her husband in Illinois.

According to police, Tanya and her husband, Dale, were in their car when it crashed Sunday near Seneca, Ill., about 80 miles from Chicago. Surprisingly, Tanya went missing while Dale was found dead on the spot. In fact, a check of area hospitals has yielded no clues yet. Police reportedly said that they believed Tanya Shannon survived the crash because they found footprints leading from the car to the road.

Authorities have asked anyone to contact the police if they have any information regarding the incident. Tanya Shannon has been described as 5-feet-2 with strawberry blond hair and green eyes, according to the station.
