Two missing minor girls traced in Uttar Pradesh

NEW DELHI - Two minor girls reported missing from the national capital region (NCR) since the past few years were traced in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi Police said Saturday.

The first case was registered on July 30, 2007, at Sector 5, Rohini, and the second on November 6, 2009, at Najafgarh. Both cases of kidnapping were similar in nature and were solved within a week,” deputy commissioner of police (crime and railways) Ashok Chand said here.

Both the cases turned out of be those of elopement and were transferred to the crime branch on orders from Delhi High Court.

The girls were traced in Ghaziabad and Hardoi, respectively.
