Two Agra businessmen robbed

AGRA - Two Agra businessmen were robbed of Rs.6.25 lakh Saturday afternoon in separate incidents, police said.

The victims were robbed moments after they withdrew money from different banks in Kamla Nagar colony of Agra. Both the incidents occurred at a gap of half an hour.

In the first incident Saurabh Bhasin, an automobile dealer, was robbed of Rs.2 lakh by two people after two motorcycle-borne youths kicked his mobike, bringing him down on the road.

In the second incident, cold storage owner Amit Agarwal was robbed of Rs.4.25 lakh while he was waiting to get his punctured tyre repaired. He had withdrawn the money from the Central Bank of India.
