Seven killed in Uttar Pradesh accident

LUCKNOW - At least seven people were killed Thursday when a speeding van carrying them smashed into a stationary truck with iron rods in Uttar Pradesh Thursday, police said.

Five others were seriously injured in the accident that took place in Haldharpur area in Mau district, about 300 km from here. The condition of three people was critical, police said.
