Lovers commit suicide in Jammu village

JAMMU - A teenaged girl and her lover were found hanging Sunday evening from a tree in the jungles of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

According to police, the boy and girl, who belonged to the same village in Rajouri district, were denied permission by their parents to marry. This denial is likely to have provoked the duo to commit suicide.
