Four injured in Delhi cylinder blast now stable

NEW DELHI - Four members of a family, including two children, who were injured Friday when a leaking liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder in their house caught fire, are now stable and recuperating in the hospital, an official said.

Jogi, 28, his wife, Akkha Devi, 26, and their two daughters Nakshi and Pallavi, aged two and one respectively, were injured in the accident at their house in Narela area of outer Delhi, the official said.

“The injured received minor burn injuries and were rushed to Raja Harishchandra Hospital,” a fire official said.

The fire department received the call around noon and rushed two fire tenders to the spot.
