21 dead in bus collision in Mexico

MEXICO CITY - A fiery crash between a long-distance bus and a truck killed 21 people early Monday on a road in central Mexico, police said in the state of Queretaro.

The cause of accident, which occurred near Queretaro, 220 km northwest of Mexico City, was not immediately known.

The victims included the two drivers of the bus and its 18 passengers, along with the truck driver. There were no survivors.

The bus, which caught fire after the crash, was travelling from Mexico City to Zacatecas.
