PHOENIX, (GaeaTimes.com)- The dreadful weather that passed over Phoenix this Tuesday afternoon, created a great deal of inconvenience for the people in every possible way. The Thunderstorm couple with dust was a result of deep low-pressure system dropping into California. The storm developed in the South East valley and reached the down town Phoenix area. The Phoenix Metro area suffered all through out Monday and Tuesday and the authorities could not do much about it.

The damages caused due to the storm included felling of trees and all those things that were not “nailed down”. A huge number of trees from in the outskirts fell down on the streets and blocked the roads, hampering the traffic movements. Poultries were harmed in many parts of the state. A power line that fell down on the Interstate 17, created traffic congestion for quite a long time. This did not result to any casualty, but it hampered the traffic movements in the wee hours in the Phoenix Metro. However one casualty was reported from Loop 202, where a single- vehicle wreck took a man’s life. The Salt River Project reported that almost 14,000 customers without electricity Tuesday afternoon, due to the dreadful weather. Enriquez Materials & Quilting, 616 S. 55th Avenue, in the South West Phoenix, reported roof collapsed due to heavy rains. Town Marshal Adam Stein, said that there was “zero visibility” near Tatum Boulevard and Cave Creek Road.

However that Maximum wrath of the weather was probably faced by the flight passengers of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Fifteen flights were diverted to other cities as it was difficult to land the flight in the Phoenix. hey were diverted to places like Tucson, Ontario, Las Vegas, Flagstaff; Las Vegas; Texas, El Paso, California, Albuquerque and N.M. Deborah Ostreicher, Sky Harbor’s deputy aviation director reported that most of the flights delayed their departure from the airport by about 30 minutes.
