Landslide buries 300 homes in Mexico

MEXICO CITY - A landslide caused by heavy rain overnight buried some 300 houses in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca, civil defence officials said Tuesday.

The landslide happened in Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec, officials said, but no details about deaths and injuries were immediately available.
