10 feared killed in Madhya Pradesh train collision

BHOPAL - As many as 10 people were feared killed and several injured early Monday when a goods train collided with a stationary passenger train in Madhya Pradesh, a railway official said.

The accident took place at the Badarbas railway station, about 50 km from Guna, where the intercity Indore-Gwalior Express was awaiting signal.

“The casualty must be under 10 as the speed of the goods train was very slow,” the railway official told IANS.

No official figures were available on the injured people.
